CheckTeller provides software that records a customer’s transaction-specific authorization and generates a remotely created check for the seller to print and deposit. CheckTeller is not a bank, payment processor, money transmitter, lender, escrow service, custodian, accounting firm, or law firm. We do not electronically debit accounts, hold or transmit funds, settle transactions, verify balances, or determine when funds are final.
A generated, emailed, printed, or deposited check is not proof that the seller has been paid. A check may be returned, stopped, disputed, delayed, altered, or rejected. Each bank controls its deposit channels, print and image standards, fraud review, holds, funds availability, and acceptance decisions. Mobile-deposit support varies. Sellers should follow their bank’s instructions and wait for confirmed clearing before treating a payment as final.
CheckTeller is designed around U.S. remotely created check requirements and applicable banking standards. This is not a claim of certification, government approval, universal bank compatibility, or guaranteed legal compliance for every use. Users are responsible for accurate information, proper account authority, a lawful underlying transaction, transaction-specific authorization, tax and accounting treatment, and compliance with laws that apply to them. CheckTeller may not be used for telemarketing transactions.
