How does CheckTeller work?

Do either of us need a CheckTeller account?
No. Neither of you needs a CheckTeller account.
How do I deposit the check?
Open your private link, print at 100%, and deposit it at your bank. Branch or ATM is recommended.
Are CheckTeller checks formatted for U.S. banks?
Yes. CheckTeller generates checks using standard U.S. check dimensions and MICR placement, including the remotely created check identifier. Deposit acceptance and clearing remain subject to your bank.
Which accounts can be used?
Eligible U.S. checking accounts with a verifiable U.S. routing number can be used.
Is payment guaranteed?
No. Treat payment as final only after the check clears at your bank.
How much can I request?
You can request one check from $25 to $5,000.
What is a remotely created check?
It is a check created after the account holder gives specific authorization instead of signing the printed check by hand.
How is bank information protected?
Account numbers and check files are encrypted. Private links use strong random tokens, and ordinary emails and logs do not include full account numbers.
Is CheckTeller a bank?
No. CheckTeller creates check documents. We do not hold or transmit funds.
What if I do not receive the email?
Check spam or junk mail, then email info@checkteller.com with your CheckTeller reference. Never email bank details.
